Get ready for snuggles with this easy to make yet stunning baby blanket
I really want to take credit for this as it is so gorgeous, but alas, this project was created by my wonderful mum.
This was gifted to my oldest friend, for her new born baby Jay. My mum and I had seen lots of patterns, but we wanted to keep things simple so decide on a simple granny square style using some cotton baby wool.
Just look at it! It’s so beautiful. When my mum had finished, she then decided to back it with some thin fabric, and it give the blanket such a professional look. The contrast with the yellow yarn and white and green print works a treat. The blanket has a lovely weight to it and by using a granny square pattern it creates lots of gaps meaning there is no risk of the baby suffocating.
